Rob Morrow - Managing Director
Rob Morrow is a mining engineer with over 35 years' experience in the development and operation of bulk commodity assets throughout Australia and west Africa. Mr. Morrow has extensive mining operations and infrastructure planning and construction experience at field operation and executive management level for both private and public infrastructure. Mr. Morrow has worked for a diverse group of public and private organisations and runs a private mining focussed management consultancy company. Mr. Morrow has played key management roles in developing greenfield mining and infrastructure operations including the Yandi Iron Ore Mine (WA), Karara Iron Ore Mine (WA), Mt Dove Iron Ore Mine (WA), Abydos Iron Ore Mine (WA) and the Mt Webber Iron Ore Mine (WA). Mr. Morrow has had a significant involvement in the upgrade or recommissioning of over 15 other iron ore, gold, nickel and copper mines throughout Australia and Africa.
Gavin Argyle - Non-Executive Director
Gavin Argyle is an experienced senior executive who has worked in Australian capital markets for more that 25 years. In 2006, Mr Argyle co-founded Capital Investment Partners, a successful Perth-based investment bank providing capital raising and corporate advisory services to small and mid-capitalised ASX-listed companies. He has been managing director of CIP since 2008.
Gavin founded The Market Herald Limited in 2006 now having 80 direct employees and is the dominate player in its industry sector, in both Australia and Canada. Prior to this, Gavin was Chairman of TCC Holdings Pty Ltd having 500 direct employees having participated in the construction and maintenance of almost every major resource project in Western Australia In 2007, TCC was sold to an international EPC company.
Andrew Muir - Executive Director
Andrew Muir joined Peak Iron Mines as Chief Financial Officer in April 2022 and was appointed to the Board on 9 August 2022. Andrew is a highly experienced commercial executive with over 30 years' experience in the mining sector covering a wide range of commodities including coal, copper, nickel and gold in both internationally and locally listed organisations as well as privately owned operations and joint ventures. Prior to joining Peak Iron Mines, Mr Muir was the General Manager – Finance at the coal producer Sojitz Blue. Prior to that, Andrew has held senior positions at companies including Peabody Energy Australia, Straits Resources, LionOre Australia, Leviathan Resources, Normandy Mining and Highlands Gold from which Andrew has gained extensive experience in open cut and underground operations throughout Australia and Papua New Guinea. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and is an FCPA.
Craig Bromley - Non-Executive Director
Craig Bromley has 37 years experience in capital markets and corporate finance, having held a number of director positions and management roles in investment advisory firms and ASX listed resource companies. Craig has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.
Diona Antonas – Environment and Approvals
Diona Antonas is a qualified environmental manager with over 10 years’ experience in environmental impact assessment and approvals. Her experience within the major developments branch of the state planning department and as a Senior Mining Assessment officer for the state mining department has seen her lead and project manage multiple large scale development and resource projects in the state.
Maria Fantasia – Stakeholder Manager
Maria Fantasia holds significant experience in community and stakeholder engagement, having worked in the public and private sector, the mining industry, and within urban, regional, and remote Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities in South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and New South Wales. Maria has been an independent member on the City of Charles Sturt Development Assessment Panel; an independent member of the South Australian Integrated Design Commission; a guest presenter at Adelaide University and Flinders University; and spent 16 years as a secondary school teacher in South Australian public and private schools.
Tegan Stehbens – Senior Environment and Approvals Officer
Tegan is a Certified Environmental Practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in environmental impact assessment, approvals, and compliance. She has worked on a diverse array of projects for the mining, oil and gas and construction industries in South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland in both state and federal legislative environments and is particularly experienced in complex projects.
Duncan Mcbain – Technical Advisor
Mr Mcbain has over 40 years experience associated with the resource development industry in geological and analyst roles over a wide range of commodities working in Africa, Australasia and Asia. Mr Mcbain has held director positions with Patersons Securities, Colonial Resources, Uranex and acted as the MD for IMX resources which developed and operated the Cairn Hill magnetite/copper mine in South Australia. Mr Mcbain also held senior positions in Rio Tinto Group companies including Bougainville Copper, An May Steel and Kembla Coal and Coke.
